Duties:Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of legal issues including labor, ethics, corporate governance, and commercial law.Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.Manage litigation and legal proceedings, coordinating with external counsel as necessary.Develop and implement compliance policies in collaboration with the Ethics and Compliance department.Advise on corporate governance matters, including board meetings and shareholder relations.Identify and mitigate legal risks through proactive strategies.Guide the company on employment-related issues and employee relations.Conduct legal training sessions for employees to ensure compliance and understanding of legal responsibilities.Stay informed about changes in laws, regulations, and industry trends impacting the company. Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Licensed to practice law in Florida.5-7 years of legal experience, with significant experience in a corporate setting.Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proven expertise in corporate, commercial, labor, and ethics law.Experience in managing legal proceedings and coordinating with external attorneys.Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Experience in corporate governance and compliance matters. Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the Florida Bar (required).
