The ideal candidate will assist in handling transactions related to financing and mergers and acquisitions (MA) within the energy transition sector, with specific expertise in tax equity and renewable energy tax credit monetization matters.Duties:Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and promptly reply to correspondence.Provide timely, accurate, and high-quality work product.Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.Foster positive work relationships within the firm and with external stakeholders.Comply with all firm policies and practices.Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.Requirements:Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in handling transactions in financing and MA of energy transition projects and companies.Proven experience in tax equity and other renewable energy tax credit monetization matters.Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school.Must be admitted to practice law in Illinois (IL).Skills:Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality client service.Education/Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Illinois State Bar (or eligible for admission without examination).
