Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 4 Years, A law firm in San Diego is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have substantial litigation experience, excellent legal writing and research skills, and the ability to handle a variety of complex legal matters independently and collaboratively.Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues.Handle all aspects of discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, and managing document production.Take and defend depositions of fact witnesses and experts.Conduct witness interviews and prepare witness summaries.Draft various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and appeals.Prepare for and participate in trials, arbitrations, and mediations.Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.Manage case files and maintain case documents in an organized manner.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California Bar in good standing.4 years of litigation experience, preferably with some exposure to commercial litigation, trial, or white-collar and investigations.Prior experience as a judicial law clerk is a plus.Skills:Excellent legal writing and research skills.Strong oral advocacy and negotiation skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to develop creative legal strategies.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California Bar in good standing.
