Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 2 Years, A law firm in Seattle, WA is seeking a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-8 years of experience to join its dynamic team. The candidate will play a crucial role in handling a variety of litigation matters, including discovery, depositions, motions, trials, and alternative dispute resolution.Duties:Draft discovery requests and responses, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.Conduct depositions of clients, witnesses, and experts.Perform site visits and inspections relevant to cases.Draft, file, and argue motions in court.Assist in trial preparation, including preparing witnesses and evidence.Attend and represent clients at mediations and arbitrations.Attend and represent clients at trial proceedings.Maintain accurate time records of billable hours.Requirements:2-8 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting.Licensed to practice law in Washington and in good standing in all other states where licensed.Solid academic credentials, including a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Excellent research and communication skills, both written and verbal.Prior experience with construction, real estate, and/or insurance coverage litigation is a plus.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Washington State Bar.Skills:Proficiency in legal research tools and databases (Westlaw, LexisNexis, etc.).Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.Strong advocacy skills and ability to represent clients effectively in court.Benefits: The firm offers competitive compensation and benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and opportunities for professional development.
