The ideal candidate will ensure legal compliance, client satisfaction, and contribute to business development efforts.Job Duties:Oversee residential and commercial real estate transactions, including sales and refinances.Review title documents to verify ownership and identify any liens or encumbrances.Collaborate with lenders, brokers, agents, buyers, and sellers to facilitate smooth real estate transactions.Draft and/or review legal documents including contracts, deeds, leases, and purchase and sale agreements.Provide professional and engaging client service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.Review disbursement ledger, authorize payments, and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.Develop and maintain business relationships to attract new clients and foster repeat business.Conduct training sessions for potential clients on relevant areas of real estate law and firm services.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Member in good standing of the South Carolina State Bar.Preferably 2 years of experience in residential and/or commercial real estate transactions.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to collaborate effectively.Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.Preferred Skills:Familiarity with real estate closing software and related tools.Knowledge of South Carolina real estate laws, regulations, and local practices.Proven track record of delivering high-quality legal services to clients.Strong negotiation skills and ability to resolve issues effectively.Certifications:Member of the South Carolina State Bar (in good standing).
