Job Overview:As a member of the SSDLPG, the Student Services and Disabilities Associate Attorney will provide essential support to senior associates, of counsel, and partners. The role demands a keen legal mind, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex legal matters efficiently. Duties:Collaborate with senior attorneys in providing legal advice and representation pertaining to student services and disabilities.Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to inform case strategy and client advocacy.Draft and review legal documents such as memoranda, briefs, contracts, and correspondence.Assist in preparing clients for hearings, mediation, and other legal proceedings.Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to student services and disabilities. Requirements:2-5 years of experience in education law, disability law, or a related field.Demonstrated proficiency in research, writing, and interpersonal communication.Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar or eligibility for admission.
