Summary Of Position With General ResponsibilitiesSet-up, service, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, and provide technical resources for the Continuous Improvement Program.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:00PMEssential Job Functions
  • Set up, operates, and performs maintenance on, and troubleshoots equipment, to include complex, and precision adjustments that require an understanding of the manufacturing process and the effect of electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical devices on the product.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tooling and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze and repair tooling or equipment problems and develop corrective action for the problem.
  • Adapt new or existing equipment to operational needs.
  • Follows all GMP’s and assists in developing operating procedures, setups, tooling maintenance requirements, safety precautions, spare parts and process supplies.
  • Organize, order, and maintain tooling/equipment components.
  • Prioritize and schedule time based on production requirements and customer needs.
  • Perform training tasks as required.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • Mechanical ability to recognize and troubleshoot all types of drive and feed systems.
  • Experience in troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Basic Math skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Flexible regarding work and shift assignments.
Education And/or Experience
  • 2-Year Technical Degree or Certificate from training courses
or
  • Minimum of two (2) years technical experience.
Physical Demands
  • Occasionally requires light physical effort as in periods of prolonged standing, sitting at machines or work tables or bending, stooping or reaching and/or occasional lifting of light items (i.e., up to 40 lbs.).
  • Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Work Environment
  • Some minor physical inconvenience or discomfort occasionally present in the work space (moderate noise, disagreeable odors, etc.).
  • May require some exposure to chemicals used in manufacturing processes, requiring some precaution.
Training Requirements
  • On-the-job, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) required for position, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
