Job DescriptionJob SummaryBDK USA Inc. is is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics Associate.
This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in logistics operations and develop your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for the day to day operations for shipping and logistics.
Job Description:
  • Order Management: Receive, review, and process wholesale orders received via various channels, such as email, phone, or online platforms. Ensure accurate order entry, including product details, quantities, pricing, and shipping information.
  • Order Fulfillment: Coordinate with the warehouse or distribution team to ensure timely picking, packing, and shipping of wholesale orders. Track order status, resolve any discrepancies, and update customers on the progress of their orders.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, including stock availability and replenishment needs, to ensure sufficient stock for fulfilling wholesale orders. Collaborate with the purchasing or inventory team to manage stock levels effectively.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Maintain regular communication with wholesale clients regarding order status, delivery updates, and any changes or issues. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Documentation and Record-keeping: Maintain accurate records of wholesale orders, including order details, customer information, and any related documentation. Generate and distribute necessary reports, invoices, and shipping documents.
  • Systems and Tools: Utilize order management systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, or other relevant tools to streamline order processing and maintain data accuracy. Familiarity with these systems and the ability to learn new technology is important.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide support in areas such as pricing, product information, and order-related inquiries. Assist in generating sales quotes, preparing sales reports, and identifying opportunities for cross-selling or upselling.
Qualifications:
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Additional education in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented and Organized: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order processing and documentation. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple orders and priorities effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with wholesale clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
  • Customer Service Orientation: Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Ability to handle inquiries, resolve concerns, and maintain positive relationships with wholesale clients.
  • Time Management and Problem-solving: Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and handle fast-paced order processing. Effective problem-solving skills to address order-related issues and find solutions.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in using computer systems, order management software, and Microsoft Office applications (such as Excel and Word). Experience with ERP systems or similar tools is beneficial.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to organize and ensuring efficient order fulfillment.
  • Prepare shipping documents, such as bills of landing and labels.
  • Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize logistics software and tools to track shipments, update records, and generate reports as needed.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and company logistics software.
  • Familiarity with inventory management practices is a plus.
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
