We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:. 

• Requests and processes medical records and record requests. 

• Performs laboratory specimen collection and documentation. 

• Obtains and documents routine vital signs. 

• Provides in-room support for all clinical staff during the clinic visits as needed. 

• Prepares and sets up patient waiting/reception area before clinic sessions. 

• Maintains laboratory and exam rooms for daily operation in a neat, clean, and orderly manner. 

• Creates, maintains, and updates databases and/or spreadsheets of information specific to the department. 

• Extracts, analyzes, and reports statistical data. 

• Other duties as assigned. 

​Qualifications:

• Diploma or Certificate from an approved Medical Assistant Program 

• Two (2) years as a Medical Assistant with experience in a medical office, hospital, or laboratory 

• Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification 

• Must be at least 21 years of age 

• Certified by the American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA) 

• Preferred Experience working in family planning medical clinics
