An Aloha Ambassador is a person that embodies the spirit of Aloha while extending a hand of hospitality towards each guest through their daily duties. Many of us are fortunate to live in Paradise, through your position as an Aloha Ambassador we help create a paradise for our owners and guests.

The responsibilities as an Aloha Ambassador include, but are not limited to, handling guest registration and concierge, being able to provide attentive and courteous service to all our owners, guests, visitors, and vendors maintain a safe and secure environment through implementing House Rules and delivering accurate information about the Beach Villas and surrounding areas and resorts.

CORE WORK REQUIREMENTS:

  • Greet and welcome all guests approaching the Front Desk.
  • Maintain proper operation of the security console and ensure that all resort standards and House Rules are met.
  • Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation in a confident manner.
  • Assist guests with special requests.
  • Actively support and promote the work culture of mutual respect, trust, and enthusiasm with other team members, owners, guests, and visitors.
  • Ensure logging and delivery of packages, mail, unit key, and messages to all guests, owners, visitors, and management as applicable.
  • Review Front Office and security log daily.
  • Answer inquiries from guests regarding restaurants, transportation, entertainment, tours, etc.
  • Maintain market promotions and guest tour programs.
  • Follow all cash handling and credit policies.
  • Accurately complete incident reports as required after investigation.
  • Be aware of closed-out and restricted dates.
  • Obtain all necessary information when verifying reservations and follow procedures.
  • Be familiar with hospitality terminology.
  • Have knowledge of emergency procedures and assist as needed.
  • Enforce all applicable rules and regulations through verbal or written notices.
  • Handle check-ins and checkouts in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner.
  • Use proper two-way radio etiquette at all times when communicating with other employees.
  • Fully comprehend and understand how to operate all relevant aspects of the Front Desk computer system and security camera operations.
  • Be able to perform and complete all tasks and duties on the shift checklist in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Be able to complete a bucket check, arrival/departure, and housekeeping report.
  • Maintain a clean work area.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Flexible and long hours may be required.
  • Availability to work rotating shifts, weekends (Fri/Sat/Sun), and Holidays.
  • Must be able to work all shifts (7:00am-3:30pm, 3:00pm-11:30pm and 11:00pm-7:30pm)
  • Ability to stand and patrol the property for long periods during a full shift.
  • Must be able to do light work- Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or constantly able to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects.
  • Able to climb flights of stairs and conduct foot patrols.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (Required)
  • Computer experience (Required)
  • Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Hospitality or a related field experience: 1 year (Preferred)
  • CPR/AED certified (Preferred)
