Beachside Apartments is Hiring an Assistant Property Manager Near Satellite Beach, FL

Beachside Apartments is currently hiring for a Assistant Property Manager position . We are family owned, with two class ‘’A’’ apartment communities and growing. Our company offers health insurance and the opportunity to work and learn from the best that Brevard county has to offer.

Our apartment communities believe the #1 thing we do every day is lease apartments. This position is for the super organized and outgoing person who enjoys working with people and helping prospects find their perfect home. As a Leasing Agent acting directly under the Property Manager, this position will be primarily responsible for maintaining high occupancy and keeping all resident files up to date in OneSite/RealPage. The Leasing Agent is also responsible for renewals, maintaining high resident satisfaction, and preparing and delivering legal and formal documents, etc. As the Leasing Agent, you will also assist with the apartment make-ready process for new leases, striving towards a perfect standard, and ensuring high levels of service at all times. The Leasing Agent must always maintain a positive attitude and contribute to building and motivating our high performing team to maximize the performance of the property.

Job Responsibilities:

  • #1 – Leasing and renewals - Maintaining a high level of occupancy at all times
  • Assist the Property Manager with providing superior customer service and communication to our residents and prospects to enhance customer satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability.
  • Ensuring the smooth running of our community in a fast-paced environment.
  • Assist the Property Manager with the overall operations including maintenance and make-readies.
  • Complete lease/renewal paperwork to ensure completion to completion to company standards.
  • Track and evaluate advertising, and all client traffic.
  • Maintain residents' files in accordance with company standards.
  • Maintain a positive living environment for community residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow-up.
  • Communicate with tenants regarding property-related issues.
  • Coordinate with address maintenance and facility needs, as needed.
  • Meet with prospective tenants to show properties, conduct property tours, receive rental applications, and explain terms of occupancy.
  • Process applications and conduct credit checks.
  • Collect monthly fees and maintain records of payments and rental activity.
  • Investigate and help to resolve complaints, disturbances and violations.
  • Comply with anti-discrimination laws with regard to housing, renting and advertising.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Attendance and Travel

  • Ability to serve on-call, as scheduled or as necessary.

Assistant Property Manager Qualifications/Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outgoing, empathetic, and friendly personality
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of anti-discrimination housing laws
  • Computer literate, including knowledge of OneSite/RealPages
  • General office skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Work to make sure all apartments and garages are fully leased
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to fluently read and write English
  • Previous experience in Apartment Leasing 2-5 years
  • Accurately perform all functions of OneSite/RealPage
  • Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance is required; position requires a vehicle to fulfill all of the job's functions.
