Summary
Reports to Director/Manager of Cardiovascular Service Line. Assists Interventional Radiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of cerebral, aortic, and peripheral vascular diseases utilizing radiographic and ultrasonic imaging. Also assists the physicians in diagnosing and treatment of non-vascular disease; including but not exclusive to biopsy, drainage, and injection procedures. As part of the patient care team, performs as scrub assistant or circulator, and takes protective measures to safeguard patients and team members against radiation exposure.

Education and Experience
The knowledge, skills, and abilities as indicated below are normally acquired through the successful completion of an ARRT approved Radiography Program. Maintain the registry in the ARRT and an Indiana State Board of Health license. A minimum of 1 to 2 years of job-related experience is required. One to two years' experience as an Interventional Radiographer desired. Vascular Interventional certification preferred.
