Position: Systems Administrator
Duration: ** 4 MONTH CONTRACT**
Rate: $70 - $80/hr
Location: On-site in Anaheim
Job Description From Client:
Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software-related problems. Performs system backups and recovery. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity in an industrial controls environment. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within an industrial controls environment. Responsible to support Energy Management Systems (EMS) and HVAC Controls, Building Management Systems (BMS), Power Management Control Systems (PMCS), and other industrial systems in support of central energy plants, utility management systems, chillers, boilers, etc. Need to perform work based on fluid team priorities with minimal supervision.
Basic Qualifications
  • Ability to install, patch, and administer Windows 10, Server 2016
  • Perform network switch configuration on Cisco iOS platforms and other switches
  • Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls and network address translation
  • Static IP Address Management/IPV4
  • Understand network media types, fiber, copper, terminations
  • Proficient in network troubleshooting tools and equipment, terminal consoles, Wireshark, cable testing tools, etc.
  • Ability to design, specify, and procure network solutions based on project requirements
  • Collaborate and work with team in troubleshooting networked systems
  • Basic SQL Server knowledge and management
  • Configure and Troubleshoot SMTP Email Relay Functionality
  • VEEAM Backup or similar managed backup system experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiar with Carrier iVu
  • Familiar with Aveva System Platform, Wonderware, Historian
  • Familiar with Rockwell/Allen Bradley Software for PLC's Applications
  • Linux DNS Implementation
Required Education
  • 2 Year Information Technology or equivalent
Preferred Education
  • 4 year BSIT Information Technology or equivalent
