Top Requirements:
- RHEL/Linux (RHEL 7 and 8)
- 7 years of experience
- Hands-on Keyboarding experience within the last 3 years.
- Hands-on Ansible experience
- Automation experience
- Scripting (BASH/Powershell/or other scripting experience) Plusses:
- Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator or RHCSA
- Sec Cert Day to Day/Project: The SA will maintain operations of multi-user computer systems, virtual computer systems, COTS software products, and perform system administration within the scope of the contract. The SA should be familiar with Red Hat Linux, and Microsoft Windows. The SA should be aware of IBM AIX and Cisco IOS. In addition, knowledge/experience with CI/CD pipeline systems, virtualization, and software environment development is highly preferred. The SA Team is responsible for monitoring and correcting system performance issues, backing up and restoring files, patching system and operating system software, maintaining software licenses and assisting the Information Assurance (IA) Team with account management and system vulnerability management. The SA will work closely with the customer and peer personnel to accomplish these responsibilities. The SA will also provide on-the-job training on system configuration, assist in deploying software/hardware deliveries, support special projects, and assist operational crews and contractor teams in resolving system and network issues. The SA will assist the IA team by providing access to system logs, instructions for monitoring user accounts, and identifying and responding to security issues/incidents.
