Inspector will be inspecting incoming, in-process and outgoing products. This individual will be preforming intermediate to advanced inspections as needed on High precision parts.

Essential Functions

• Measuring parts using basic tools such as micrometers, calipers, pins and height stands on surface plates etc.
• Making new as well as running proven CMM programs on parts.
• Utilize control plans and inspection instructions to evaluate product for conformance.
• Document results in a clear and concise manor.
• Take direction from production management to facilitate product flow though the plant.
• Preform Basic to advanced inspection tests.
• Preform Basic assembly tasks

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma (Required) ; Zeiss Calypso Training (Preferred)
• Certifications: GD&T (Required)
• Background: 3 years of experience in a machine shop

• Advanced ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Ability to use and apply basic math.
• Intermediate to advanced understanding of GD&T and how to apply it.
• Intermediate to advanced in use of measuring tools, e.g. micrometers, calipers, pins.
• Intermediate to advanced ability to read and understand CMM reports.
• Ability to write intermediate to advanced CMM Programs (Zeiss Calypso).
• Intermediate to advanced ability to communicate with machinist in order to facilitate manufacturing of parts.
• Constantly maintain extreme level of attention to detail.
• Effectively collaborate with other throughout the organization.
• Regularly lift 15-30 pounds.
