Business Analyst with SQL - Onsite in Houston, TX - 20% travel within USA.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating and contributing to a variety of projects within our clients’ organization. Your primary responsibilities will include data collection, documentation, report generation, and project support. You will work closely with the business analyst team to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and contribute to the achievement of project objectives. 20% Travel will be required .

This role requires the ideal candidate to work on-site at our client's office, located in downtown Houston, TX.

Responsibilities:

· Utilize your proficiency in SQL to work with metadata, ensuring data quality and consistency.

· Collaborate with project teams to define project objectives, scope, and requirements.

· Leverage your analysis skills and experience to extract insights from data, providing valuable recommendations.

· Actively contribute to project planning, execution, and monitoring.

· Demonstrate flexibility by transitioning effectively between different projects.

· Utilize Spotfire to visualize and present data insights (Spotfire experience preferred).

· Bridge the gap between technical and business stakeholders.

· Utilize your project management skills to ensure project milestones are met.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred.

· Experience in the oil and gas sector is ideal.

· Strong proficiency in SQL is required

· Experience with Oracle is a plus.

· Proven data analysis and project management experience.

· Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

· Willingness to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

· Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.
