Our client, a distinguished mid-sized professional services firm, is seeking a dynamic and experienced accounting leader to join their team as a Senior Director of Tax and Accounting. In this role, you will work directly with the Managing Directors, with the opportunity to advance into the Managing Director role for the Tax & Accounting Advisory practice as the firm continues to grow. Responsibilities:

• Lead the Tax & Accounting Advisory's practice strategy, ensuring high-quality delivery across engagements.
• Crafting and executing advisory services that address the complex needs of their clients, including M&A, restructuring, and strategic financial planning.
• Cultivating deep client relationships, understanding their business models and objectives to provide tailored advice.
• Identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities to drive growth.
• Advising clients on complex tax matters, including planning, compliance, M&A, and transactions
• Lead, mentor, and expand the team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
• Act as a career advisor to associates, senior associates, and managers.
• Prioritize team development, training, and the delegation of new activities.
• Promote team members and provide opportunities for professional growth and exposure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting; CPA required.
• 15 years of professional experience in leadership roles within accounting or advisory services.
• Successful track record in business development and client relationship management.
• Expertise in both tax and accounting for private companies.
• Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills, with the ability to establish rapport and work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
