General Statement of Duties

The Coordinator of Accounts Receivable serves a key role on the Revenue Cycle Team. The coordinator works with the team to perform and review Cash Application, Account Reconciliation, Room and Board billing and contract maintenance; among other related tasks.

Essential Job Functions

  • Cash application within Sage Intacct
  • Consumer account reconciliation.
  • Submit claims via the PROMISe Pennsylvania state billing system
  • Utilize Setworks and TMP
  • Prepare, review, analyze, follow-up on aged AR balances including review of unapplied payments.
  • Utilize payment transaction data from banking reports.
  • Perform internal audit of billing process on a quarterly basis.
  • Maintain second point of contact for billing issues.
  • Preparation and gathering of information for claims audits.
  • Follow-up on invoice short payments, billing errors, and collection issues. Communicate issues to leadership.
  • Prepare Supports Coordination file for billing on a monthly basis for NJ Molina submission.
  • Manage and Maintain Room and Board contracts, billing and history.
  • Monthly submission of the Room & Board invoices to representative payees
  • Maintain individual Master File
  • Assist with yearly financial audit requests.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent medical experience preferred.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of Medical Billing Experience in Pennsylvania or New Jersey.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, payment application and billing software.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis.
  • Ability to prepare business correspondence with accuracy.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Compliance with HIPPA standards and requirements.
