Job Summary:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for organizing the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse goods. Provides materials, equipment and supplies by receiving, warehousing and distributing warehouse services along with supervising staff.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)

• Works under the direction of CH Operations Manager, and in conjunction with the Line Manager and Assistant Line Manager, in all aspect of warehouse duties, including but not limited to shipping and receiving, warehousing and distribution of products and supplies.
• Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, and transportation of goods within warehouse.
• Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles. Stack or pile materials.
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Maintains physical counts in accordance with managerial needs and expectations.
• Ensures physical condition of warehouse by implementing design layouts, inspecting equipment, and alerting management if work orders or repairs are needed.
• Verifies that all quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met.
• Keeps warehouse safe and sanitary while adhering to the SQF and organic certification policies of the 1911 Cider House.
• Work well with coworkers on the bottling/canning line team as well as staff members from multiple departments within the company.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualification Standards:

· 3 years working in warehousing or logistics

· 3 years forklift experience with ability to become forklift certified

· 1 years working in a manufacturing environment (food/beverage preferred)

· 1 years of record keeping, order fulfillment, or similar

· Valid driver’s license required

· Excellent communication skills

· Willingness to learn, challenge yourself, and be resourceful

· Working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace

· Willing to work standard business hours with occasional nights/weekends (if needed)

Preferred Qualifications:

· 2 years of management experience with direct reports

· Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Computer proficiency including word processing, data entry, spreadsheets.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects and details simultaneously.

· Some analytical ability to gather and summarize data, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work.

· Ability to gather data and compile information for management.

· Strong written and oral communication skills to interact with co-workers and vendors in a professional and helpful manner.

· Ability to work productively in a fast paced, stressful environment.

Equipment, Machines and Software Used:

· Stand-up Counterbalance and Outdoor Seated Forklifts

· Computer Software: Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel.

Mental Requirements:

· Close mental and visual attention

Physical Exertion:

Heavy work - exerting up to 165 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

Environmental Conditions:

Inside Work:With exposure to temperature changes (e.g., unheated or uncooled warehouse).

Travel:

This position does not require travel.
