We are looking to grow our Team! We are hiring a new sales representative. If you are an -A- Player and a Closer we’d love to talk with you! We are looking to hire the best! Here is what we are looking for and expect:

This sales rep position is responsible for all things associated with sales. This position will be responsible for bringing in work for the company both through company provided leads and for leads found through other methods obtained by you. All employees of Bean Brothers Landscaping are expected to do what is in the best interest of the company to provide a professional experience for our customers.

Job Description

  • Sales Rep will be responsible for estimating 2-4 jobs per day (This can vary based on performance and other factors)
  • Multiple follow ups with homeowners during the sales process will be required
  • Pictures and videos will be required for three reasons; for your customer, for the crew when we land the job and for marketing purposes.
  • All paperwork and a diagrams should be filled out on every job inspected

Expectations

  • Provide our customers with a positive experience in a professional manner
  • Available for contact Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. through 7:30 pm (more if you’d like)
  • This is a 50 hour per week job.
  • Pictures and video must be taken on every job.
  • ALL estimates must be written and presented to the customer on site. If the customer is not able to be there (i.e. a real estate transaction) then the estimate must be sent within 24 hours of on-site inspection
  • Sales Rep will abide by all company policies that pertain to him/her
  • Company vehicles (or personal vehicles) shall be clean, inside and out, at all times (a clean vehicle is a good first impression).
  • Sales rep should become proficient in company technology
  • Sales rep will be required to follow up with customers multiple times throughout the sales process.
  • Sales rep will be required to bring in self generated leads of their own.
  • Sales rep will be expected to answer any questions the crew lead or production manager has.
  • Sales rep will answer to the sales manager, or in his/her absence to the General Manager and/or owner.
  • Sales rep’s schedule is subject to change based on any emergency inspections that may need to be added or due to the customers schedule.
  • Sales rep will be expected to close at least 55% of leads.
  • Sales reps will be expected to take sales classes and training to improve closure rate.
  • Sales reps' primary goal will be to keep the best interest of the company in mind. This includes the following:
  • Setting the correct customer expectations
  • Pricing jobs profitably and accurately
  • Designing jobs accurately

Customer Satisfaction

  • Serve as the client’s point of contact for any questions or issues that the customer may have in regards to the estimate/quote
  • Follow up with clients to ensure they received estimate (important)
  • Address client concerns in a timely and complete manner

Training

Sales rep will go through an initial 30 day training to learn about our technology, process, and operations. 

Only upon successful completion of this 30 day training will the company start leasing leads to the sales rep.

Benefits

  • $30,000-$50,000 Base Salary plus Commission. 4% of sales associated with customer signed contracts (commission to be paid when the job is finished). Final commission will be based on 3 categories: setting customer expectations, profitability, and design. If the crew/company does not hit their goals then it will be at the discretion of the sales manager, operations manager, GM, or owner to keep some or all of the commission. Employee must be employed by Bean Brothers Landscaping to receive benefits/pay.
  • It is expected that this position should make $80,000-$100,000 annually (no cap)
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) after 1 year of employment
  • Company vehicle
  • Company vehicles are only to be used for business use only. No exceptions.
  • Sales rep will be responsible for all maintenance (company paid).
  • Sales representative agrees to keep a clean vehicle
  • No smoking in company vehicle
