Bear Creek Services is actively in search of a Marketing and Development Director to coordinate and communicate opportunities for community members to engage with Bear Creek Services both financially and personally.

Position Overview:

The Marketing and Development Director strategizes and executes plans to enhance the organization’s visibility and attract supporters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate fundraising events for the organization, including vendors and volunteers.
• Work with the Marketing and Development Director to develop the annual budget and follow budget expectations in event planning.
• Draft, edit, support, and assist in the preparation and dissemination of a variety of marketing materials (social, traditional, and digital).
• Collaborate with the Marketing and Development Director and internal teams on marketing strategy.
• Develop a relatable and consistent voice for the company, through external and internal communication platforms.
• Help coordinate publicity events with various media outlets.

Experience and Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field preferred.
• Marketing or communications preferred.
• Social media marketing experience preferred.

Other Requirements:

• Successful completion of a criminal background check.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of current automobile insurance.

Bear Creek Services is a non-profit organization based in Rochester, MN, providing essential services to approximately 100 adults with disabilities. Established in 1976 by parents of children with developmental disabilities, the organization currently oversees 13 group homes and an independent living services program.
