Position Summary: 

This position plays a major role in a guest’s dining and/or bar experience. Consistency is a key element in a positive experience, which is achieved by always following recipes. A bartender must be friendly, outgoing and possess good communication skills. A bartender should be organized and able to think and act quickly and effectively while retaining self-composure.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Practice safe food handling and cleanliness at all times
• Accurately input orders into computers, handle money, make change, and process credit card transactions
• Communicate and interact with Guests in a friendly manner, at respective volume & handle crowds and put Guests at ease
• Maintain clean and organized Cash-Out station and ensures back-ups are stocked for the next shift
• Communicate with other team members to ensure order accuracy and guest satisfaction. \\
• Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks for patrons of bar and dining room following standard recipes
• Check Guest ID and adhere to responsible service of alcohol policy
• Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in agreement with Bears Restaurant Group
• Wash and sterilize stemware
• Offer assistance before the guest has to ask for it
