Bo-Mac Contractors, Ltd. in Beaumont, TX is offering a challenging and exciting career opportunity for a Maintenance Logistics Coordinator. Qualified candidates must be able to perform all duties listed below safely and follow all of the company's safety procedures.
Primary Responsibilities
Procurement Management:
  • Assess equipment needs and develop procurement strategies to meet departmental objectives.
  • Source potential vendors, solicit bids, and negotiate contracts for the purchase of equipment rentals and job/project materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define technical specifications and ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and maintain supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Monitor market trends, conduct market research, and stay abreast of industry developments to identify new opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Coordination:
  • Coordinate the transportation of equipment and equipment both in-house and from suppliers to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Oversee the warehousing and inventory management of equipment, including proper storage, tracking, and maintenance of inventory records.
  • Develop and implement logistics plans to optimize distribution routes and minimize transportation costs while meeting delivery deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast equipment demand, allocate resources efficiently, and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
  • Implement best practices for inventory control, including cycle counting, stock replenishment, and obsolescence management.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices, in compliance with auditing and reporting requirements.
  • Generate regular reports on procurement activities, inventory levels, and logistics performance metrics to track key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze data trends, identify patterns, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and optimize operational efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications :
  • Business or Construction Management Degree
  • Communicate effectively with field superintendents, managers, legal, and accounting team
  • Deal directly with suppliers to get quotations and order supplies
  • Work with shop team, accounting and field employees
  • Assist writing Purchase Orders as needed for consumable supplies, parts and equipment rentals etc.
  • Assist coordinating delivery/pickup of equipment and materials
