The Community and Partnerships Coordinator’s primary objective is to foster strong connections, drive collaboration, and create mutually beneficial partnerships to support the organization's goals and DEI mission. As the assistant to the Chief Community Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting their work and responsibilities in the U.S. Accepting California and New York based applicants.

As Community & Partnership Coordinator you will be responsible for:

• Cultivating and maintaining relationships with community members and strategic partners. 
• Identifying opportunities for collaboration and partnership within the community.
• Serving as the primary contact person for community members, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and needs promptly and effectively.
• Planning, organizing, and executing events, workshops, and initiatives aimed at promoting community engagement.
• Assessing the effectiveness of community and partnership initiatives, tracking progress, collecting feedback, and measuring outcomes to inform decision-making and improve strategies.

• Act as the primary contact person for fund recipients in the U.S. and Canada, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and needs in a timely and effective manner.

• Collaborating with the artist team to identify artists for content shoots.
• Coordinating content logistics, including production coordination.
• Providing administrative and logistical support to the Community team.

As Community & Partnership Coordinator you will have 

• A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field; however, equivalent professional experience and expertise will also be considered.
• 2-5 years of proven experience in community and partnerships is preferred 
• Experience in community development, community relations, strategic partnerships, corporate social responsibility, or similar roles.

• Understanding and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within community engagement and partnership initiatives is highly desirable.

• Experience in managing and developing staff or volunteers is highly beneficial.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships.
• A strong understanding of community development principles, strategies, and best practices is important. 
• Experience in implementing community engagement programs and organizing events is valuable.
• Strategic thinking skills and the ability to develop and implement plans and initiatives that align with the organization's objectives. 
• Experience measuring outcomes, and evaluating the impact of community and partnership efforts is beneficial.
• Ability to effectively advocate for the organization's mission and values.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Photography or content capture experience is a plus.
