Beaumont Behavioral Health is Hiring a Director of Clinical Services (LMSW) Near Dearborn, MI

Responsibilities:
Director of Clinical Services

Beaumont Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility)
A new, 144-bed behavioral health facility – Beaumont Behavioral Hospital provides a full continuum of inpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs to serve adolescents, adults and older adults, and perform behavioral health assessments 24-hours a day. Additionally, programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues are offered to meet the unique needs of this patient population. The facility provides a robust outpatient program utilizing a combination of group, family and individual therapy.

Position Summary

As a member of the leadership team, the Director of Clinical Services provides the leadership and strategic planning of the clinical services programs offered at the facility, ensuring programming meets the needs of the community and the facility’s performance goals and objectives. The DCS directs the social services and recreation therapy departments as well as all inpatient programming efforts. Responsibilities include, but not limited to the overall administrative processes and management systems for all social service functions of a inpatient hospital, the promotion and maintenance of a therapeutic environment, the development and implementation of clinical treatment programs, staff supervision and direction. The DCS should be able to roll up thier sleeves and jump in to work along side of thier team.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS


Education
: Masters Degree in social work required.

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years experience in psychiatric/mental health field. Supervisory experince required. Prefer candidates with a minimum of three (3) years experience in advanced clinical/management practice.

License: Michigan LMSW required

Additional Requirements: A strong knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, LARA, OSHA regulations, and patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.
