Job Description: Social Media and Video Production Coordinator
Position Overview:
The Social Media and Video Production Coordinator at Beaumont School will be responsible for enhancing the school's online presence and communication strategies through effective social media management and video production. This individual will work closely with the Director of Marketing to tell the story of Beaumont to prospective families, alumnae and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Management:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase online engagement and brand awareness.
- Create, schedule, and publish content across various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with followers.
- Analyze social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
2. Video Production:
- Plan, script, and produce high-quality videos for various purposes, including promotional, educational, and event-related content.
- Conduct video shoots, including setting up lighting, sound, and camera equipment.
- Edit videos using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure video content aligns with the schools messaging and objectives.
3. Content Creation and Management:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to promote school events, programs, and achievements.
- Coordinate with the Admissions and Advancement teams to create content that supports enrollment and fundraising efforts.
- Assist in design and distribute promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, and digital ads.
- Manage communication scheduling calendar for departments
4. Event Support:
- Provide communication support for school events, including open houses, fundraisers, and student activities.
- Assist in the planning and execution of event-related marketing and communications.
- Cover events through live social media updates, photography, and follow-up stories.
5. Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze the performance of communication strategies using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights.
- Prepare regular reports on communication activities and their impact.
- Use data to inform and improve future communication efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in a communications or marketing role, with a focus on social media and video production.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems.
- Experience with video production and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
