The Brand Investment Lead (BIL) is responsible for stewarding a brand's total media budget towards full funnel success (inclusive of Retail). They are responsible for being the connective tissue between the client, planning teams, and the cross-channel investment teams, to enable agile cross-channel optimizations. The BIL is accountable for performance success across Social, Search, Programmatic, eCommerce, Video, and Direct IO activations. They have a strong understanding and opinion of their client's media approach along with an understanding of what’s possible across channels and a curiosity of the media marketplace. The BIL collaborates with Investment leadership on updates and implementation of L'Oréal Divisional and Corporate media best practices. They will partner closely with their brand’s Planning lead and report into the brand’s executive director with a dotted line to the account Investment lead.
Responsibilities
  • Lead Brand’s weekly full funnel media optimization meeting inclusive of L'Oréal Brand Marketers, L'Oréal National and Commerce Media Leads, and BCL Media Teams.
  • Manage the BCL Brand Activation team and be accountable for their success in driving campaign KPIs.
  • Own the development and delivery of quarterly tactical media plans (supported by the wider BCL Brand team)
  • Steward live campaign budget optimizations and post-campaign media actualizations with 100% financial compliance with BCL payment terms
  • Identify areas of process efficiency across all business areas touched.
Requirements
  • Ability to translate digital media complexities and tie them to client business solutions
  • 10 years of digital agency, brand, or tech experience managing Digital and/or Video media buying (self-service platform experience required)
  • Track record of excellence in both client service and team management, holding strong skills in project management, delegation, and attention to detail.
  • Experienced team leader who can drive cross-functional collaboration
  • In-depth knowledge of the online advertising industry including technology solutions, DSPs, SSPs, data privacy, ad ops, advertising/publisher ecosystems, and media investment optimization
  • Experience managing a brand’s media budget across large volumes of products and campaigns
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.
Compensation Range
$185,000—$190,000 USD
