Beaver County Transit Authority, has an opening for a Transit Operations Assistant Manager at our Expressway Travel Center in Aliquippa, PA.
As the county's public transportation provider, BCTA provides fixed route and demand response services to the resident of the county, commuter service into downtown Pittsburgh, and also administers the Medical Assistance Transportation Program for the County of Beaver.
This position is responsible for assisting in ensuring a high-quality fixed route service and Bus Operator performance. This position requires an understanding of the overall functions and daily operations of the fixed route public transportation system including the service design, safety, dispatching and technologies used to monitor service quality.
The ideal candidate is preferred to have a Bachelor's Degree or Certification in Public Transit Planning & Management and a minimum of 5 years of transportation operations and / or safety experience with supervisory responsibilities.
