The Manufacturing/Process Engineering II for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics will be responsible for supporting Diagnostic or Life Science products by ensuring that products are efficiently manufactured while meeting quality standards and cost targets. Additional tasks include but are not limited to driving continuous improvement to product quality, cost reduction, productivity improvement, and on-time delivery to our customers. You will be a part of the Manufacturing Technical Operations team and report to the Manager of Technical Operations responsible for providing technical support to the manufacturing of diagnostic medical devices. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality. Recommend and implement solutions to mitigate repeat production issues. Use DBS (Danaher Business System) tools for continuous process improvement of manufacturing processes. Problem solving by analyzing data, troubleshooting, and implementing effective solutions using DBS. Generate fixtures and tooling to improve, automate production processes. The essential requirements of the job include: Education: Bchelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering field with 2 years exp. OR Master’s degree in the field Knowledgeable in manufacturing processes to optimize production efficiency and maintain product quality. Leadership skills to develop project action plans to lead and drive all actions to project completion. Knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing principles such as Value Stream Mapping, Continuous Improvement (Kaizen), Root Cause Analysis, and Standard Work. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office, MS Teams, and SolidWorks.
