The Q&RA Advanced Product Compliance Technician for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for evaluating and testing of Beckman Coulter hardware products for Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC).

This position is part of the Global Product Compliance Engineering Department located in Indianapolis, IN and will be onsite. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Global Product Compliance Engineering Department and report to the Senior Manager in Brea, California responsible for leading the Product Compliance program in support of new product introductions & sustaining product support. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Provide testing services for EMC and communicate with internal customers to provide status updates on all projects and to help ensure the maintenance of the internal test lab.
• Administer and maintaining product compliance documentation (Tech files/EMC test reports).
• Help prioritize workload and manage resources required to execute EMC/EMI testing.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Associate’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Science or related technical discipline and 6 years of experience.
• Expertise with the EMC Directives including the EN 61326-1 series of standards.
• Strong capability in troubleshooting/critical thinking skills to lead the work related to generating EMC documentation and making design recommendations on compliance related findings.
