About our company: Nestled in the charming neighborhoods of Philadelphia PA. We provide short-term post-acute rehabilitation as well as long-term skilled nursing care. We admit patients from community hospitals.

Infection Control / Staff Educator RN Preferred Salary:Annual salary 85K-95K based on experience.

Infection Control / Staff Educator RN Preferred Responsibilities:

• Responsible for making daily rounds on unit to supervise, observe, examine, interview residents, evaluate staffing needs, monitor regulatory compliance, to achieve the care environment and to evaluate staff interactions and clinical skills competency.
• Develops and maintains nursing policies and procedures that reflect current standards of nursing practice and facility philosophy of care consistent with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement comprehensive nurse onboarding program, including orientation and training of new nurses and other clinical staff.
• Train and certify staff in CPR, and ensure all staff are current in their certification.

Infection Control / Staff Educator RN Preferred Requirements:

• Infection Prevention Certification
• Knowledge of MDS and Care Planning Process
• Graduate of a Registered Nurse degree program of college or university.
• Current CPR instructor certification
• Basic computer skills required, including experience with Microsoft Office, Internet, Web applications, PowerPoint, and Excel.
