Long Term Care Maintenance Man

Job Summary: The Long Term Care Maintenance Man is responsible for the overall maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the long-term care facility. This includes routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, following life safety code.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Equipment Maintenance:

    • Perform routine maintenance on facility equipment.
    • Inspect, clean, and repair equipment to ensure proper functioning.
    • Keep records of maintenance activities and report any issues.
  2. Building Repairs:

    • Address general building repairs such as fixing leaks, painting, and replacing damaged or worn-out parts.
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them promptly.
  3. Safety Compliance:

    • Ensure that the facility complies with all safety regulations and codes.
    • Identify and correct safety hazards promptly.
  4. Emergency Response:

    • Respond to emergency maintenance requests and address urgent issues promptly.
