Bedrosians Tile Stone is Hiring a Product Manager Near Fresno, CA

Job Overview

Reporting to the President, the Product Manager will lead a 3-person team that drives the technical vision, development, and business growth of the company's three tile flooring product lines. This person will set the innovative vision of our product lines, conduct market research, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the development and successful launch of cutting-edge tile flooring solutions. This person will manage one product line directly and oversee the other two through their direct reports, fostering innovation, research and development, and ensuring successful product launches and market penetration.

Duties

  • Strategy & Leadership

    1. Set the strategic direction and long-term Able to distill product roadmaps into digestible and relevant presentations to key customers and partners.
    2. Vision for the company's flooring product lines.
    3. Lead the development and implementation of innovative product strategies and roadmaps for each product line from concept through launch.
    4. Define and manage product budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost-effective development.
    5. Drive product innovation and differentiation through continuous research and development efforts.

    Business Growth

    1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and industry partners.
    2. Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape to price and position each product.
    3. Monitor product performance, gather customer feedback, and make data-driven decisions to improve product quality and user experience.
    4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to tile flooring products.

    Department Leadership & Management

    1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, sales, and fabrication to drive successful product launches and market adoption.
    2. Manage and mentor direct reports, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of their respective product lines.
    3. Develop budgets, forecasts, and metrics for each product line
    4. Develop KPIs for direct reports and manage their overall growth and performance improvement.
    5. Any other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in a related field
  • 5 years of experience in product leadership with a multi-state consumer products company with 750 to 1,000 employees
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, lead, and manage teams.
  • Proven track record in product management, preferably in the building materials or construction industry.
  • Deep understanding of tile flooring products, manufacturing processes, and installation methods.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify market opportunities and address challenges when taking educated risks and constructing solutions.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills to articulate product vision, strategy, and roadmaps to key customers and partners.
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in driving innovation and managing product development cycles.
  • Proficiency in market research and competitive analysis.
  • Strong project management skills to ensure timely and successful product launches.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the tile flooring industry.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends shaping the building materials industry.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
