You will be instrumental in working with our clients to be better engaged, better empowered, and better defined in achieving their career and professional goals. Resume & LinkedIn Writers effectively collaborate with the Career Coach, Executive Coach, Personal Performance Coach, Client Service Associate, and other partners to implement a dedicated process to enable our clients to achieve their desired career and professional goals! This framework aligns the client’s goals and skills gained in a way that moves and sustains results. 

Our Writers are client-facing and conduct 1:1 and group coaching sessions. To be a successful Resume & LinkedIn writer with us, you should have demonstrated experience writing resumes for career transitioning professionals at all career levels, including C-Suite and Executive. You should be knowledgeable in aligning branding documents and positioning candidates for full/part-time employment, freelance/contracting, portfolio careers, project-based, interim/fractional, board, professorships, and alternative work engagements. 

The ideal candidate is also someone who enjoys some amount of networking and business development as a personal branding expert to help grow our Branding services (versus only working on assigned clients).

You will also have the opportunity to help shape and develop our Resume, LinkedIn, and Branding services and relevant coaching curriculum. 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Write customized professional resumes for individuals at all professional levels including Executive/C-Suite that are ATS compliant.
• Create branding documents: Resumes, Cover Letters, Executive Bios, Thank Yous, Curriculum Vitaes, International Resumes, and Government Resumes. 
• Research sample job descriptions, utilize client-provided content, and turn content into impact statements and achievements. 
• Partner with clients to help drive out experience and align it with targeted career paths.
• Write optimized LinkedIn profiles and stay current with LinkedIn enhancements and products/features. 
• Review resumes and LinkedIn profiles and recommend improvements. 
• Stay current with industry trends, technical skills, and business acumen requirements to target clients desired career paths. 
• Directly interact with clients via video conferencing, phone, and email. 
• Participate and lead resume and LinkedIn workshops and provide subject matter expertise to clients and other Bee Defined team members. 
• Facilitate a collaborative environment with the client’s dedicated Bee Defined team to deliver seamless client experience aligned with client goals. 
• Maintain accurate records of client’s progress and document maintenance through CRM software. 
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Resume and LinkedIn writing experience with regular client interfacing *Must have experience writing Career Transitional Resumes and working with C/Suite & Executives
• 7 years of professional work experience
• Bachelor's degree 
• Must hold a Certification from one of the major career organizations (CPRW, NRWA, PARW/CC, CDI, etc.)
• Experience with ATS software and digital resume platforms, and application of ATS requirements within resumes
• Project leader, process-minded with strong business and financial acumen
• Strong technical and business writing skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Flexible in incorporating the Bee Defined Consulting approach and resume writing methodologies 
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, G-suite
• Experience utilizing CRM
• Ability to personally maintain a LinkedIn Premium Membership
