Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to support their financial operations as they experience rapid growth. The company is located in Champlin, MN (Minneapolis suburb). The company manufactures, sells and services generators and mobile EV charging equipment, catering to a diverse base of clients and industries. This role is hybrid but on-site majority of days with an ASAP start date and 40 hours per week.

The Accounting Manager reports directly to the parent company's CFO and indirectly to the General Manager. The ideal candidate will be open to a Contract-to-Hire arrangement with the potential to become permanent and advance to the position of Divisional Controller. The candidate for this role needs to be hands-on and have the ability to communicate with the non-accountants and technical CFO as the company's parent is a consolidated, public company.

This role is to perform the following: - Financial Reporting - Budgeting/Forecasting - Oversee AR/AP, multistate tax filings, external audits and internal audit coordination. Manufacturing industry experience with job costing and inventory control strongly preferred.
