Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support their financial operations as they experience rapid growth. The company is located in Champlin, MN (Minneapolis suburb). They manufacture, sell and service generators and mobile EV charging equipment, catering to a diverse base of clients and industries. This role is hybrid but with majority of days on-site, no travel. ASAP start date and 40 hours per week.
The Senior Accountant will actively participate in the daily operations of the four-member accounting department and will report directly to the Accounting Manager. The ideal candidate will be open to a Contract-to-Hire arrangement with the strong potential to become permanent.
Key Responsibility Areas: Management Reporting; Sales & Use Tax; General Ledger Accounting; Accounts Payable & Receivable. Manufacturing industry experience with job costing and inventory control strongly preferred. Multistate Sales/Use Tax filing experience required.
