Role Overview:

Beehive Industries is looking for an energetic and driven SeniorSystemsEngineerto develop requirements, allocate performance targets,coordinateengineering interfaces(internal within the engine and external with customers), and facilitatesystemslevel trades to optimize the engine design. This role will partner with various cross-functional leadership on a daily basis facilitating development and delivery of a gas turbine system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Decompose the customer/stakeholder requirements into product system/subsystem requirements for an aviation engine using sound engineering principles while meeting industry standards
• Control the Interface control document process and coordinate the design functions
• Lead and support system level trades to optimize the overall engine design
• Define customer integration requirements, lead and support component testing and engine testing
• Create plan to validate and show compliance to all requirements while managing technical risks across the program
• Plan system and component test programs. Set test objectives, limits, instrumentation, and test data requirements to validate the engine design
• Participate in design reviews and coordinate with other disciplines in design, performance, controls, stress and life, additive manufacturing, and materials
• Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments
• Participate in the research and development of technologies and methodologies associated with additive design Advise on ways to improve product design through the exploitation of additive manufacturing
• Assure proper documentation of technical data generated consistent with engineering best practices

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
• At least 5 years of experience in systems engineering
• Strong understanding of requirement management software tools (Doors, etc.)
• Experience working with additive manufacturing technologies and familiarity with design for additive manufacturing principles
• Passion for additive technology and willingness to challenge current design limitations to further exploit the benefits of additive capability
• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Demonstrated problem solving ability and strong program leadership and execution skills
• Proven self-starter and quick learner who can work in fast-paced cross-functional teams
• Direct experience supporting and working with customers
