Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a PRN part-time contract basis, with the potential to transition to full-time in the future. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care and support to assisted living facilities, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. This role is perfect for a dedicated nurse looking to make a meaningful impact on the assisted living community.

Responsibilities

- Provide interim nursing services to assisted living facilities, covering for RNs on vacation or in facilities without an RN.

- Assist with survey preparation and quality assurance to ensure compliance with healthcare standards.

- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop care plans for residents.

- Completing patient assessments for changes in condition and move-in assessments.

- Monitor and record residents’ conditions and report any changes to the appropriate personnel.

- Provide training and support to facility staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

- Training staff and delegating tasks to med techs and caregivers.

- Help process orders and ensure timely delivery of care.

- Communicate effectively with providers and outside agencies to coordinate care and services.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall enhancement of care delivery.

- Optionally be available for on-call duties with extra compensation.

Qualifications

- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Idaho.

- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations related to assisted living facilities (willing to train the right candidate).

- Excellent assessment, clinical, and documentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
