Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency in treatment approach
- Provide support and guidance to clients and their families
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities preferred
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Have RBT Certification or working towards it
Skills:
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Familiarity with data collection methods and procedures
- Ability to implement behavior intervention plans effectively
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with individuals with ASD
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly on your feet
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
