Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate individual to join our team as a cook. You will play a vital role in our culinary operations, ensuring the highest quality of food service and meal preparation. If you have a strong background in the food industry and possess excellent culinary skills, we invite you to apply. Part time available 9:30am-6pm and 6am-2pm shifts
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines
- Ensure all food is prepared and served in a safe and sanitary manner, following food safety regulations
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute catering events
- Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients, placing orders as needed
- Assist with menu planning and development, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and preferences
- Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils regularly
Skills:
- Strong culinary skills with experience in meal preparation
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with the kitchen team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing menus, dietary needs, and catering events
- Previous experience in the food industry or culinary field is preferred
