Job Details
DescriptionThe Director of Digital Product Management will lead a small but mighty team responsible for several critical functions, including website migration, conversion rate optimization (CRO), search engine optimization (SEO), and defining new customer experiences. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in e-commerce, digital product development, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving product innovation, improving user experience, and achieving business goals.
  • This is a hybrid role, requiring the ability to work both remotely and on-site as dictated by business needs. Must be available to come to the office as required.*
Essential Functions: (The reason this job exists is to perform these functions. These functions are performed regularly, seriously impacts other jobs, and there are a limited number of employees whose performance of the function can be distributed.)
  • Provide support and best practices knowledge in the migration of the existing proprietary website to the BigCommerce platform, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal disruption to customers and business operations.
  • Own CRO for the business, focusing on key components such as A/B testing, user behavior analysis, funnel optimization, and implementing data-driven changes to improve conversion rates.
  • Oversee both the technical elements of SEO (including XML Schema, URL structure, redirects, etc.) and content development and deployment strategies to enhance organic search visibility and drive traffic.
  • Define and implement new customer experiences to generate leads, working with technology partners to create tailored experiences for different key segments and ensuring a seamless integration into the overall customer journey.
  • Ensure optimal site performance, uptime, and a smooth customer experience by addressing bug fixes promptly and maintaining robust site functionality.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience & Skills Required
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience in product management, including significant experience in a leadership role.
  • Experience in e-commerce and/or the promotional products industry a plus.
  • Proven experience managing teams, including hiring, mentoring, and developing talent.
  • Experience managing the entire product lifecycle from conception through launch and beyond.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, including leading cross-functional Agile teams.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI including working knowledge of tools such as xD and Figma.
  • Ability to think strategically about product direction, market opportunities, and competitive positioning.
  • Solid understanding of technology and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate those into successful product features and enhancements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong project management skills to ensure timely delivery of product milestones and goals.
  • Ability to conduct and interpret market research and competitive analysis.
  • Understanding of financial metrics and the ability to manage budgets and financial performance related to product management.
  • Ability to drive innovation and creative solutions to meet market demands.
  • Currently residing in or willing to relocate to South Florida (Miami, Fort Lauderdale area) with willingness to be present in office two days a week with the team.
