Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Location: Kent, WA 98032

Duration: 06 Months Contract (Temp to Hire)

Payrate: $20/hr. - $30/hr. (depending on experience)

Shift : 1st Shift (8am to 5pm)

Responsibilities:

Accounting duties in support of division’s accounts receivable function. Collection of outstanding accounts receivables from customers.

• Application cash receipts to customer accounts.
• Resolution of payment disputes.
• Preparation of related month end journal entries and reports.
• Responsible for general accounting duties as assigned.Prioritize daily workload to consistently meet deadlines.
• Work with coworkers to accomplish daily task and occasional projects.
• Communicate with personnel within and outside of the organization including but not limited to employees, customers, and vendors.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with team members, other personnel, and management.
• Perform regular duties with moderate supervision.
• Perform other related responsibilities as required.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree1-3 years recent accounts receivable experience preferred.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong Analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• An intermediate level of computer skills.
• Strong 10-key, typing and data entry skills.Intermediate level Excel skills.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to changing environment.
