Bell Associates is Hiring a Senior Benefits Specialist Near Waukesha, WI

Primary Responsibilities:

As a Sr Benefits Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing day-to-day employee benefit activities, including addressing inquiries, setting up processes for new hires and open enrollment, handling qualifying event changes, and managing beneficiary designations and terminations.
  • Overseeing and administering leave of absence programs such as parental leave, FMLA, short/long-term disability, and workers' compensation. Ensuring eligibility for leave and appropriate return-to-work protocols.
  • Organizing and coordinating employee events and recognition activities to foster a positive work environment.
  • Developing, sourcing, presenting, and tracking various employee training programs.
  • Assisting in the review, development, and updating of employee communications, policies, handbooks, and various plan documents.
  • Coordinating employee recognition programs and conducting employee surveys.

Skills/Requirements:

  • A BA/BS degree, preferably in Human Resources, from an accredited college or university.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a mid-sized company.
  • Extensive knowledge and proven experience in the administration and compliance of benefit programs (health, welfare, retirement).
  • Experience in coordinating and conducting training sessions.
  • Previous recruitment experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Paylocity and Deltek Vision or VantagePoint is preferred.
