- Under close supervision, the assembler performs operations to assemble electro-mechanical parts into assemblies using hand or power tools according to clearly defined work instructions.
- Fits and fastens specific parts of varying sizes to sub-assemblies of electrical or mechanical structures.
- Aligns, inserts fasteners, and tightens to assemble components.
- Work from drawings, work instructions, bill of materials, and occasionally verbal instructions.
- May prepare and maintain production and test records.
- Must possess good manual dexterity.
- Have basic hand tool knowledge and be detail oriented.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
