We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft.
This position is onsite in Fort Worth.
Aerospace / Mechanical Engineer
We are looking for inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to solve difficult problems. From tiltrotor technology to modular complex electronics systems, our engineers work across a wide portfolio of aircraft programs and functions, to bring vertical lift solutions to our customers. We have numerous opportunities available, from designing detail parts, analyzing components and systems, to vehicle performance validation testing. At Bell you will have the opportunity to combine your passion and knowledge to solve some of the world’s most difficult challenges required to bring rotorcraft products to market. What You Will Need To Be Successful

What Will Make You Stand Out
- Exposure to CATIA / advanced CAD systems, component design experience.
- Exposure to advanced analysis tools, ANSYS, NASTRAN, component analysis experience.
- Familiarity with Systems Engineering processes, from requirements through verification.
- Control system design and modeling using Simulink, and implementation on hardware.
- Rotorcraft specific analytical experience: dynamics, performance, aero / CFD.
- System integration experience, integrating complex systems, including sensors, components, complex electronic hardware, and software.
- Lab experience with mechanical and/or materials testing at a coupon or component level.
- Hands on club experience working with a team to design, build, and test a complex vehicle to specific requirements and specifications.
