Painter IIBring your experience and ideas and help us bring the highest quality products and service to our customers. This role will be an integral part of the manufacturing team. A Day in the Life of a Painter II will prepare, mask, paint, layout, stripe and detail the most complicated paint schemes for aircraft.
What You’ll Be Doing As a Painter IIAble to spray primer and painting aircraft interiors and parts (including cowlings).
  • Able to mix and spray aircraft with paint with supervision.
  • With supervision, able to do the clear coat on aircraft parts (to include cowlings) and aircraft
belly.
  • Mfg: Able to prime, paint, and clear coat parts with limited supervision.
  • Maintains inventory and hazardous waste.
  • Demonstrates safe work habits to include always wearing proper PPE.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods during the entire duration of shift.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
  • Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.
  • Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.
  • Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
What You Need To Be SuccessfulHigh school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years aircraft refinishing experience or related autobody & refinishing experience.
