**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of property leasing, real estate administrative tasks, and excellent phone etiquette skills.

Position Objective: Increase income to properties by maintaining a high closing ratio and improving resident retention through resident activities and renewal program. Maintain positive relationships with residents.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Show and lease apartments
• Process and approve applications
• Answer telephone and emails
• Inspect model/show apartment daily
• Inspect vacancies as needed
• Maintain detailed traffic log
• Follow up on all prospect visits within 24 hours
• Prepare and place Move-in Gifts
• Assist with property marketing
• Evaluate traffic statistics
• Evaluate rental rates/specials and make recommendations
• Notify locators of changes in rates, specials and availability
• Prepare and evaluate market comps
• Place internet advertising
• Evaluate and recommend additional advertising including signage, print ads, and flyers
• Assist with special events
• Order marketing materials, if required
• Assist with business marketing
• Assist with Resident services
• Receive and process work orders
• Collect and post rental and other income, if required
• Post invoices, if required
• Prepare renewal leases and call on residents for renewals

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
