The Bellefonte Area School District is accepting applications for the position of a Secondary Life Skills Teacher at the Bellefonte Area High School.

Interested candidates should have a strong desire to work with secondary students with autism and intellectual disabilities. Experience teaching academic, functional and social skills preferred. Candidates must have the ability to work with and communicate effectively with other professionals, parents, and administrators and be able to lead and direct paraprofessionals in the classroom.

Required: Special Education K-12, or Mentally and or Physically Handicapped N-12, or Special Education K-8 and 7-12.

This position is in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Unit.
