Seeking an energetic, professional team member to join the front office at our busy and expanding holistic family practice in Bellingham. Our multi-provider clinic offers a friendly and rewarding work environment with a strong patient focus and fulfilling mission.
Front office administrative duties include reception and administrative tasks such as greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, checking patients in and out, responding to patient phone messages, accurately entering and reviewing patient data in the EMR, ordering medical and office supplies, opening and closing clinic, and other assigned tasks to help ensure smooth operations of the clinic.
Required skills/experiences in a candidate:
--Excellent verbal/written communication, ability to create a safe, pleasant & effective environment for a diverse patient population, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, professionalism, customer focused, ability to uphold confidentiality, compassion, team player, strong problem solving skills, excellent work ethic.
Desired skills/experiences:
--Front office/administrative experience working in a health care setting.
--CNA, medical assistant, bookkeeping skills, and flexible schedule are a plus.
