WNESU Special Education Teacher(s)2024-2025 School YearBellows Falls Union High School is seeking two special education teachers to perform case management duties and provide direct instruction to students with learning and social/emotional challenges. This position will support access to grade level curriculum through differentiation of academic instruction using technology, executive functioning skill development and positive behavior supports. Candidates should have a strong background in providing high quality intervention services and collaborating with general education teachers on inclusive practices and universal design for learning. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing specialized instruction in reading and math, collecting and interpreting data, and using diagnostic tools to inform instruction. We are seeking a candidate with excellent communication and collaborative skills and a trauma-informed approach to supporting high school students to meet their fullest potential. Applicants must be certified (or eligible for certification) by the Vermont AOE as a Special Education Teacher, Consulting Teacher or Intensive Special Education Teacher. Successful candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and proficiency in the Google platform. This position follows the WNESU school calendar. Salary and benefits as per the Master Agreement between the WNESU Board and the WNESU Association.
